Our recent Harvest Weekend was a time of memorable worship in our beautifully decorated church. and we would express appreciation of all the hard work involved in preparing the church and the 3 choirs for the festival! As usual the focus on Sunday 9th November at 10.45am will be at the Cenotaph for our United Act of Remembrance, which will be followed by our own service in church at 11.45am approximately. In the evening at 7pm we have our Youth Service with our guest preacher, the Rev Timothy Cole, from Edinburgh. This will be followed by Youthscope at 8pm for our young people.
A new venture gets under way on Wed 5th November from 7 to 8pm when Dessie
Blair will offer coaching to young people of any age who may be interested in
indoor bowls. All equipment will be provided, so just come along and try it out.

Church Forum: On Monday 10th we host this meeting of laity from the various
participating churches in Cookstown and District at 8pm in Derryloran Parish
Hall.
This annual event will be held in Church House, Armagh on Wed 12th November
at 8pm. Please support this venture!
Mothers' Union: This month's branch meeting has as its special guest on Thursday
6th November the Diocesan President, Mrs Mary Caldwell, and we hope for good
support from all our members.
As part of our closer links with the Methodist Church, parishioners are invited to the Alpha Course being held in their hall on Wednesdays at 7pm. A warm welcome is assured!
"Insite", our Youth Choir, will be seeking the services of a pianist after Christmas and would invite applications. Practices are on Wednesday evenings from 7-8.30pm in the church. We are most grateful to Andrew Greer for all his dedication and commitment to the piano and for the way in which the group has developed with him, but now A-levels take priority, and we wish him well with them!
Remember them from days gone by? Well, the Youth Club is organising such an
event in the Parish Hall on Friday 21st November at 7.30pm to raise funds for
the club. Please bring jumble to the Hall on the Thursday evening to enable
stalls to be set up.
The Annual Senior Citizens' Dinner will be held in the Church Hall on Sat 29th
November from 3pm, when we can once again guarantee an excellent afternoon's
food and fun for special people!
